Description

I decided to have a go at this object again, because I wanted to get some more integration time compared to before. That said, I also took an image of M102 last night as well, and I could have kept going with that instead, but I wasn't really sure whether more integration for that particular field of view, would have necessarily improved the picture too much. I am yet to process that data set, and part of me wishes I had stayed with it, because the cloud came in anyway, and prevented me from getting the amount of subs I thought I might of done, had I continued with it. Anyway, I made the decision to go with M101 and I got 62 subs, but 25% of them were affected by high murky haze. It was difficult to process that out, because it did affect the stack, but here it is! I am pleased that in spite of it all, I managed to get the fainter arm of this galaxy [just about], something that I have not achieved before. Thanks everyone. Simon
